The rise of K-Dramas in India
South Korean shows have been dominating the Netflix India’s Top 10 Trending list since early 2020! Known as K-Dramas, South Korean shows have captured India's attention over the last five years. Of late, Bengaluru is witnessing a rising demand for learning the Korean language. This interest for learning the foreign language, however, is not for finding employment in South Korea or education purpose but to watch the hugely popular Korean dramas streaming on OTT platforms such as Squid Game.
